Buttock Augmentation

Buttock AugmentationThere are many individuals who visit my practice, Widder Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Center in Northern Virginia, and inquire about butt augmentation surgery. This procedure can help patients achieve a more toned appearance when exercise has not provided ideal results. I am dedicated to providing patients a safe and caring environment throughout their entire surgical procedure with the help of my staff.

Buttock Augmentation

During your initial consultation, I will thoroughly examine the area to be treated, discuss the procedure details, and address any question/concerns you may have. The surgery is typically performed through incisions that run down in between the buttocks in order to hide scarring after surgery. Semi-solid silicone implants are strategically placed in the buttocks in order to provide a fuller, curvier contour. It is important that you refrain from smoking approximately two weeks before the procedure, as well as refrain from taking aspirin. You must also follow the diet sheet provided during your consultation.

Post-surgery, you will need to wear a binder garment for three weeks to allow proper healing. You will not be able to lie down; however, sitting and walking is acceptable. You may return to light duty work in one week and resume exercise and normal activities in six weeks. Additional information regarding your recovery can be discussed during your visit.
